DMI-Services is part of the Disaster Management E-Gov initiative that is lead by DHS/FEMA with the support of the 27 Federal agencies involved in disaster management. DMI-Services (DMIS) is intended to provide an interoperability capability to the Response Community such that information can be shared among the multiple organizations that could be involved in Incident Management. DMIS also provides a basic set of capabilities for use by Responders.
