About DMIS Current Capabilities

The Tactical Information Exchange (TIE) - Tie can be broken down into two major functions Incident Information and Specific Needs Requests.

Incident Information
TIE capabilities available within DMI-Services allow operators to share information about an incident within and between emergency management organizations.
This information includes:

Basic Maps with Information Layers
Agent Observations and Sampling

Population Actions (sheltering, shelter-in-place, & evacuation)
Weather Forecasts and Observations

Hospitals
Casualties
Property Damage and Critical Infrastructure Status
Journal

Whether you're already using a situation-reporting software, such as CAMEO, or you use the TIE service from DMI-Services, you will be able to rapidly develop and exchange incident information with other DMI-Services operators.

Specific Needs Requests
The Specific Needs Request area of TIE provides a means of communicating the needs for your organization such as, equipment, supplies or personnel. It also provides a means for your COG to reply to other Specific Needs Requests.

DMI-Services' Weather Tool provides:

The most recent weather observations for affected areas by ZIP code
Weather forecast information on an hour-by-hour basis for the next 48 hours
